Smoked duck breast sandwich
For a meal on the go
You will need: (for 1 person)
- 1 half baguette of corn bread (or two nice slices of farmhouse bread)
- 1 tomato
- 5 slices of smoked duck breast
- 2 soft dried apricots
- A few leaves of rocket
- 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of blackcurrant and timut balsamic
- Salt & Pepper
- In a small saucepan, reduce the blackcurrant and timut balsamic for a few minutes over medium heat, so that it becomes thicker.
- Cut the dried apricots and the tomato into strips.
- Cut the bread in half and spread the mayonnaise on each side.
- Add the tomato slices, the salad, the smoked duck breast, the dried apricot slices and drizzle with the blackcurrant and timut balsamic reduction.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with plain balsamic or Espelette pepper vinegar.
