Lentil and herring salad
Full of flavour
You need: (for 2 people)
- 70g uncooked green lentils
- 150g of herring
- 1 shallot
- 1 half teaspoon of mustard
- 2 teaspoons kina-karo balsamic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- Cook the lentils for 25 minutes in boiling water and add salt at the end.
- Cut the herring into strips and set aside.
- Mix the mustard, kin- karo balsamic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain and cool the lentils. Finely chop the shallot.
- Add it to the lentils, herring and dressing and mix well.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with garrigue vinegar or plain balsamic.
