Chestnut frying pan

You need: (for 3 people)

  • 500g cooked chestnuts
  • 2 shallots
  • Apricot balsamic
  • Salt & Pepper

  1. In a frying pan, fry the finely chopped shallots in butter.
  2. Cut the chestnuts into small pieces and add them to the pan.
  3. Add a little water, and let them stew for a few minutes.
  4. Then add 4 tablespoons of apricot balsamic and remove from the heat a minute later.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. You can add dried fruits to the preparation before simmering (grapes, apricots, ginger, cranberries…)
Try also with Rancio vinegar or coffee balsamic.
