Potato waffles
Kids will love it!
You will need: (for 6 people)
- 6 large potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 log of goat cheese (300g)
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons Espelette pepper oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- A few sprigs of chives
- Salt & Pepper
- Wash, peel and grate the potatoes and carrots.
- Mix the grated vegetables with the garlic powder, Espelette pepper oil, egg yolk and cornflour.
- Chop the chives finely and add to the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper. Heat the waffle maker. (If you don’t have a waffle maker, you can also cook them in a pan.
- Slice the goat log and set aside.
- Cook the waffles for about 5 minutes. You can keep them warm in an oven preheated to 60°C.
- When all the waffles are done, put them on a plate and put a slice of goat cheese on each waffle and eat immediately.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with basil oil or old-fashioned matured olive oil.
