Sweet potato fries

What could be better than home fries in the oven?


What you need: (for 2 people)

  • 500g sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons tomato vinegar, basil, smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of the spice of your choice
  • Salt & Pepper

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into large sticks.
  3. In a bowl or large freezer bag, place the sticks and add the oil and vinegar. Mix well to soak the chips.
  4. In a bowl, combine the spice, salt and pepper. Add the contents of the bowl to the bag and mix again.
  5. Place the sweet potato sticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper, spacing them well apart.
  6. Place in the oven for 35 minutes, turning the chips over halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Serve immediately.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with walnut and curry balsamic or honey vinegar.
