Filet mignon

A treat!


You will need: (for 4 people)

  • 1 pork tenderloin
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon of wholegrain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons of blackcurrant and juniper balsamic
  • A drizzle of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a casserole dish and fry the onion rings.
  3. Add the filet mignon and brown it on all sides.
  4. Add the balsamic and turn off the heat.
  5. Add salt and pepper and brush the filet mignon with mustard.
  6. Close the casserole and put it in the oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
Tip: This recipe can also be created with smoked blackberry balsamic or caramel vinegar.
